Myanmar police officer points gun towards protesters in Naypyitaw.

 Myanmar police used live ammunition, rubber bullets, & water cannons against peaceful protesters today, w casualties. Police shot a 19-yr-old woman in the head, injuring her critically. The security forces need to *stand down* & *protect civilians*. Loss of life can be avoided.

The first use of rubber bullets in Mandalay. Two protesters on motorbikes were shot by the police. One of the two protesters shot in the neck.

We are receiving report of several casualties during the protest by the police. The police using live bullet in Nay Pyitaw and shot a lady.

We still need to verify this, but the photos and messages I’m getting is that at least one woman has died after being shot to the head. Photos, like these, are coming multiple people. Real bullets fired according to msgs I’m receiving , not just rubber.
